Course Description
This introductory course provides you with the fundamentals necessary to safely massage geriatric clients. Age-related health problems are discussed as well as adapting your techniques for geriatric clients. Contraindications are included and explained.
Educational Objectives
Upon completion of this home study continuing education course, the massage practitioner should be able to:
- List age-related health problems to be expected with a geriatric massage.
- Identify common contraindications for geriatric massage.
- Accurately describe the scientific theories of aging presented in this course.

12 Hour Daily Limit
Please be advised that our school limits our students to 12 hours of continuing education per day (four of our 3-hour courses). So if you need 36 hours of continuing education be prepared to space it out over three days.
