This course is designed to offer detailed information about aromatherapy massage applications, safety guidelines, blending tips, and essential oil descriptions. This course will enable you to safely incorporate aromatherapy into your existing massage practice.
Educational Objectives
Upon completion of this home study continuing education course, the massage practitioner should be able to:
- List all relevant methods of essential oil extraction.
- Describe the correct methods of application and use of essential oils.
- List the means by which essential oil constituents are absorbed into the body during an aromatherapy massage.
- Demonstrate knowledge of basic aromatherapy safety.
